I am pleased with the desk. It is what I have been looking for.

It was difficult to assemble the legs & crossbars because the hardware did not all work. Since it was metric, it was difficult to find others that worked; but we were finally able to find the necessary things & complete the assembly.

this is a good medium quality desk for personal use. I applied butcher's wax to the roll top and drawer slides to get them to open/close smooth.

the desk and two dreawer file cabinet look great together; the desk is classy looking and small enough to fit comfortably into our family room without overwhelming it. very convenient for orgainizing our personal files, such as bills, important papers etc
